It amazes me, how many varieties there are and yet still instantly recognisable as a daffodils. I've just put a pot of 'rip van winkle' into the front to try and break up the multiplying 'tete a tete' that came with the garden.
FB love the split corona one and as I'm looking for a pink variety your comment was useful, do you know the name of it? I have also seen one which claims to be lilac which I am interested in.
I think the pink one is Salome. I cant remember the name of the orchid flowered one. Parkers were doing orchid flowered mixed and pink flowered mixed at about a tenner for 25 last year.I have always found Parkers good for bulbs. One of my amaryllis I bought from them is one its third spike. They often have freebies like the tete a tete that I love to have in a pot near to the house. My front garden is having a purple year this year, cortesy of freebies. Purple tulips mix (free from parkers)yet to flower, and purple hyacinth mix (free gardeners world offer) currently scenting the front area. Also I have a double lilac primrose that is flowering away.
