  • Apologies to Lizzie....I should have commented on Cedric's arbour in my earlier post image....anyway, albeit a tad late, I think your arbour is really nice and in a really idyllic setting.

    Thank you David, no need for an apology. I still prefer your arbour though!

    Lovely stone fountain, shows up the colours and much the best sort of water feature for parents with young children - if any see this.

    Thanks, Lizzie, I agree about water & young children.

    As part of the same pebble garden I have this half-barrel water feature I wouldn't consider it as child-safe, but then, my family is all grown up now.

    Snowdrops are all out and other bulbs starting. Some hellebores too.

    Lucky Dove!

    I like blue and yellow, but I usually grow a paler viola, Morpho or something. They are pretty.

    That Viola is called Morpho. Very pretty image

    I got some for my new hanging baskets as they seem to hold their heads up well in the wet.
