    Anthony,

Apparently anemone Wild Swan is difficult to grow but not for me. image  It is a new form of anemone that flowers early summer......can be late spring....onwards into autumn.  Lovely white flowers with blue backs .......making a very attractive plant.

Correction Verdun, so far with me it has been impossible to get them started to grow on, never mind actually grow, but I have high hopes someday!

Ps, I will be round with my hobnailed boots on to see anyone who mentions it!

Hi CharleyD and Anthony McGlen - thanks for the welcome - believe they are Blue Cadet and Sum & Substance - definitely have the bug and can now understand why my good friend is so protective of his! Came home tonight and one of my Hosta seems to have put ' meat on its bones' - what a joy - definitely feel an addiction coming on (Who am I kidding - addicted already!) copper tape on order image

Love the Fire and Ice - impressive - been in the garden all day - Hosta's going well and have 7 spikes poking through from my first one ! Copper tape on pots now so breathe and relax!

  • hi tray14

yes the fire and ice is doing well considering it was in a pot chucked on the rubbish to tidy up.my titanic hosta has not yet come thru . the first pic is my blue Hawaiian cant wait for it to get large.

glad your hostas are springing up as well please don't forget to post same pics imageimageimage

Anthony, they're looking good!  The fire and ice is stunning.  We're away at the moment but I've resolved to start on the hosta corner as soon as we get back and just try to do a little wild garlic at a time.  I refuse to let wild garlic stop progress in my garden image

Wow - chucked on the rubbish - well done you for saving it! will post some pictures at the weekend - been busy at work but looking forward to the Easter break - some of my  customers have told me the weather is supposed to be good. Haven't been brave enough to put Hostas in the border yet - all in pots at the moment.

  • Tray14 its not rubbish it is tea bags I read some were that tea was good for the soil and for hostas they will be picked up very soon as we have good sunny weather now

looking forward to seeing your picks imageimageimageimage

Must admit I have been chucking cold tea on plants for a while however can't remember where I got that idea from!
