Oberlix , you can program flashing Christmas lights so they do give you a headache

OH can't bear the flashing as he has astigmatism and I just think they're tacky.   Our lights are programmable too but all just On.

Thanks BF.   What difference does one more kitten make?

I have been down to the PT to make sure everything has a good drink.   Lots of lovely lemons and limquat ripening and the yuzu is looking very healthy so I hope we get flowers and fruit on that this coming year.   7 or 8 big fat peppers look good and one has started turning red.   Looking forward to scoffing that.

Unfortunately, OH's Brussels sprouts that I potted up are still alive so I suppose I'll have to plant them out for him............

Bio , thanks for update , interesting use of old seeds , must see what I have got
As for UK tourists not knowing about the problems in Frances , they must live in a bubble or refuse to watch news as there is so much Brexit !
Oberlix  managed to grow some peppers this year in g/h and some Cape Gossberrys , trying to see if they will over winter , would love to be able to grow lemons 🍋

Kitten fine including 'lodgers' -worms!!!! -Went to report it 'lost'? to the Mayor this morning, plus bought wormer from vet and dosed it up. Happy little chappy -I am hoping no-one claims it and then when back from Uk beginning next week I can get it properly checked and neutered! It is eating well (1 extra tin of cat food a day Obelixx!!) and does not seem worried about it's tail (that I have found no broken bones in), but reckon nerve damage from being hit possibly by car. Back end quite weak, but manages to jump up and down off chairs and other cats now speaking to it which is a good sign -Normally if there is something wrong with a kitten - others attack or shun it. Obelixx you are so lucky to have lemons etc, obviously much warmer than up here -Baby sprouts showing on Brussels, definately will not be ready for Xmas, never know how other people manage to eat home grown sprouts then -mine always seem about right Feb/March and I follow the instructions rigourously. Really wild and windy weather here yesterday -Sea magnificent with New Moon obviously effecting it. I hear Snow in East America today -Usually ends up here 3 weeks later. I must look for Michel Gross Calender this week as pretty accurate on weather etc. Anyway Xmas Fairs now finished, now just got the run in to Xmas at Markets. All very quiet and dismal this year. Have sloshed extra brandy over our Xmas Cake to cheer myself up. Now must do Xmas Cards and the usual annual letters. I do each one seperately as opposed to typed 'round robins' but it takes ages. So much gossip to catch up on. I always worry I shall forget someone! -Eating last Cos Lettuce out of greenhouse tonight. O/H has put some Quince Vodka on the 'go' -Never tried this but given 3Kgs Quinces by neighbour with recipe. -Will be good for Easter.
    Happy Gardening.

So pleased the kitten is on the mend and I am sure you are hoping it won't be claimed.
All my cats (past and present) have come to me and I have never had to look for one.
Strays and ones no longer wanted.
Like you I don't like "round robins" as they seem so formal and write separately to each friend.🐱

Bio , I remember my mum had a cat with a broken tail , we think it got shut in a door , never effected it as such
We are of to one of my Nieces wedding 🎩 this week in Windsor , decided to say in Hotel for 3 days as never been there
We had some quinces given us but they looked a bit old so just made a crumble , shame because they make fantastic jam
Resently  bought a bottle of Quince Gin , very nice , I’m sure the Vodka will be good

Glad the kitten is being well looked after BF.   Ours are two and a bit now and one is still hunting between rainy spells.   Bits of corpse on the landing most days.

Lovely clear sliver of a new moon last ight and millions of sparkly stars but I couldn't see the passing comet.  Should be brighter by the 16th so I'll try again each night it's clear.
Now the frost has thawed I can get out and plant the rest of the sring bulbs which have been held up by patchwork homework and rain.   Need to make some pumpkin soup for lunch first.

@biofreak Lived in Singapore many years ago and all the cats had a "kink" in their tails or half a tail. They are actually born like that. Was glad to know that as I thought it was some form of cruelty and if a cat had a straight tail it was bad luck. My cat out there had a 'kink" in his tail.
