Thanks Linda Taylor I'll get my coat on , Bizzie B that's a lovely picture, not had chance to crop my pictures, just got back from legs, tums and bums, had a shower and relax
Still raining in Bristol and forecast to continue all day. I am pleased to have the rainwater butts full up and am sure the plants are loving it but longing to get out there and weed and prune. Next Sunday I am judging eleven categories in the Flower Section in a local flower show so I will spend today checking up on what to give points for and when to deduct in between getting ready for the AGS committee meeting in my lounge this evening, printing the minutes and agenda and going for fresh milk and biscuits for the refreshments. It will be my last one as secy as I have passed it on after nine years, Last evening the boy next door brought me a lovely bunch of hothouse flowers and his parents have ordered me a delivery of my favourite compost from our local flower shop, knowing how I keep running out! Birthdays just get better and better as you get older!
yes, birthdays do don't they, going on throughout the year when friends and family, near and far, keep in touch. What a nice suprise for you.
Another busy day, Marion. I dont know about you but I wouldn't be without them, on the proviso that I can have time to myself too!
We've had rain, sun and wind over the last few days but still pottering inbetween. A very bright moon on Sunday night, and the Perseids meteor shower is expected tonight. I understand that the moon will be too bright for us to see much but know that someone will have photographs. Always exciting to seevthe natural things happening.
Aww. remonds me of when we lived in Gloucestershire. A buzzard came down and pinched my toddlers chocolate biscuit from her hand and our spaniel pounced on it. There were feathers everywhere and s screaming toddler every time anything remotely like them appeared. Here is my bouquet of birthday flowers from the lad next door.

Another sky photo
two buzzards (heard their cry first) spiralling up into the black cloud, you can just see them if you enlarge the photo. Such beautiful clouds.
Oops, having 'double message trouble' taken this one out.

Awe that's so nice, wish I had neighbors like yours, it's still raining buckets here in the NW, I took some photos on Saturday when it was sunny....
I'm sorry, I rotated my photos and saved it and it still keeps coming out wrong when I place it on the furom, so frustrating!
