Most of those hellebores came from Ashwoods this time last year. They are settling in nicely. The seed I took off some of them last year is germinating. I hope for something exciting from them, in a couple of years time.
Some pictures taken in the wild bit of the garden yesterday. I have never tried photographing birds before, as I thought with my fairly basic camera, I would not be able to capture them.
However with some food and a bit of patience, plus deleting about 100 of the photos taken, I got a few that I think are ok.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I find it difficult puncdoc to photograph birds as they fly off just when you think you have got them in frame, so well done for capturing those shots.
Thanks David, that means a lot coming from an expert. The camera is a Sony Cyber shot with a 20X zoom. It has a few different modes, but I don't really understand them.
I bought the camera for our African safari 2 years ago, and was very pleases with the results, but then it is hard to miss an elephant standing 20 feet away!

Can't for the life of me remember if I've posted this pic before (apols if I have) It was taken on a sweltering hot day last summer at our village fete....I just happened to spot this little girl of about 7, who was talking to & reassuring her pony who was extremely hot & bothered.

I beg your parsnips! Only the very finest bone China cup, if you please.

I would say they're fantastic shots, pundoc.....basic or not, I would guess your camera has some sort of zoom lens.
Well done.

Lovely photo of the Yellowhammer. I haven't seen one for some time.
