That looks quite beautiful just as it is, Fairygirl.
Re action pics of ponies, you probably have an little button on top of your camera that looks smething like 3 tiny cameras, one on top of the ot the other This is for continuous shooting.....ie you can choose the nuber of frames per second your camera takes, with .or with or without tracking.
When you've mastered this, you'll be able to take some great action shots.......perhaps we'll go further into it sometime.
It has David I thought that, I'm looking forward to just looking at one image a day from the best photographers in the world and hopefully learning something from them,

My cameras were never hi tech enough when I was travelling to shows David - the timing was all important!
I used that feature when we were on holiday. The girls threw pebbles into the crystal clear water at Ullapool
I used it at Glenfinnan Viaduct too, when we were waiting for the Harry Potter train and I wanted to get a good one of the girls in front of it
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Pleased you've found the burst mode, Fairygirl.....it's much quicker to set-up on my Pentax K50.
Nothing technical just Christmas Day lunch ????

My son gave me this book for Christmas there is a picture for every day of the year I will open one page each day and with luck share it with you
That's a nice present, Ann.......that particular photo has a resemblance to the now famous National Geographic picture called 'Afghan Girl'.

That's a nice idea little-ann
A few icy shots from today on Ben Donich, up at the Rest and be Thankful, between Arrochar and Inveraray.
The sunny skies didn't last unfortunately. Lots of low cloud and fog as seen here looking across to the Arrochar hills
Think I used the filter (just for blue) on this one. Hard to tell as the rest of the subject matter is so monochrome anyway!
The little icy lochan just before the last ascent to the scrambly rocks nearer the summit
