All the pots are lasagne style. The tulips werent suppose to flower until after the daffs.

It will be interesting to see if it works.  Purple crocus  and blue iris dont show up very well in the blue pots.  I know blue pots are Passe but still.

What lovely hellebores you have Fidget. I've never seen any like that here in France.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Lovely pics everyone.

I do have a taller variety of snowdrops, but they aren't in flower yet. Most of my snowdrops seem later than everyone elses this year image

  • A pic of my parsnip box made of toilet/kitchen roll tubes and seeds sown a few weeks ago now germinated. When plants are ready to go outside they can be set in their positions with no root disturbance. Copper band around the box is to deter slugs. If any do get across it I will add another band of copper below it and solder a pair of wires to the band and connect them to a small battery but all seems to be OK at present. I lost a lot to a small slug last year that climbed the root trainer container that was on the bench in the GH so I'm taking extra precautions this year.

PS, I sowed 3 seeds per station and have picked/thinned out the weakest to leave the strongest to grow on.
