Oneofseven, yes it was lucky. I was going to take some 'before' pictures of the garden before I tackled the flower beds. So had it in my coat pocket. Star gaze lily, Don't worry about the name. It doesn't matter what you are called as long as you are not called late for dinner.
David I preferred the picture without the coloured vase. My camera isn't good enough to zoom much without loosing quality.
Charlie I think I've missed something I enlarged and looked for people in the distance on your first photo thinking you'd zoomed in on the second one, I couldn't see any

I agree, KEF....in fact both pots were coloured (first on green & white) with the camera set on the chosen setting it just picks up red (and b & w of course) hence my swapping it for a red one, just as an experiment.
Charlie I can see something enlarging your last photo but wouldn't have without your directions, well done you, my zoom shots aren't good, only got a cheapo camera

I mentioned telephoto lens yesterday....I took these two random shots (nothing special) this morning to illustrate the point.
The church in the middle of the first pic (just about visible) and the second is the same church zoomed in on.
As you can see, I took the shots while watching Sunday morning soccer.
Btw, the church was about a mile away.

No, still can't see them, Charlie.....probably because your second picture is still quite small when enlarged.
My aforementioned telephoto lens is 24 - 1000mm 42x zoom.

Hope that makes sense.
