How lovely Fidget (and I recognise that copper jug). Not sure I am qualified to answer the question, on account of being small, yellow and fluffy, but those wings look just the right proportion to me. i'm sure a Fairygirl will be around soon to give a more informed opinion
I wanted a dandelion and fairy, a la Trentham, but fantasywire do a DIY kit for a 6 inch fairy, so hubby has been busy with the pliars and yards of wire, and one of my Allium seedheads. He's not sure about the wings though.

aw feck, who needs wings?
I might have to stick a fine bamboo rod up the allium stem. It's threatening to bend.

That's gorgeous, incidentally. Clever hubby. I may be slightly biased, but that's a lovely thing to have made

Well done Fidget's OH, it looks beautiful.
On a slightly different scale, have you seen the wire menagerie at the Tower of London?
