Mrs G - you should've gone to Specsavers!!! image  The appointment was at 8.30 and I called in at the Farm Shop on the way home - the nice young man there carried my shopping to my car imageimage

Last time I had my BP checked GP said I was on the highest dose of that med I could have, and if it didn't improve they'd have to try something else - three months later and BP s better than it's been in a long while image

Lakeland sell them, also seen some on amazon Sweetpea

Something like that would be fab, but we only have two pairs of wellies, and all the ones on amazon are family sized. I'm gonna have to have a look in Homebase next time I go to see how I can make one myself. I've never made a thing!
Hopefully it'll be cheaper than the £30 ones I've seen on amazon!

OL I'm glad you're ok! My mum has high BP, it worries me far more than her, as the last time she went to the doctors for herself was 14 years ago. *sigh*

Sweetpea, google how to make image It seems all you need is a broom handle, a chunk of wood and a drill (and maybe some wood glue!) They don't seem too difficult image

Morning all, hope everyone has a good day and somebody gets chance to do a bit of gardening...am soooo fed up of this rain, forgotten what it,s like to go out in anything but willies and cagoule, can someone do a sun dance please?

  • SweetPea93SweetPea93 Posts: 446

I don't advise you go out in willies RM!

We don't have a drill, or a saw for that matter, but I think maybe I can rustle something rough and ready up with some nails and dowlingimage

Righto, time for work! Have a lovely day guys, no rain as of yet, but it usually has a habit of tipping it down while I'm walking into town. Catch you later no doubt.

FINALLY, successfully placed order for the lavenders! No idea (well maybe) where they will go! Will have too many but have an idea to earn myself some money next year by selling plants at car boot sales. Not doing the one at school, too many other things to do to get organised.

Rose, I will be going to the bot gdns next weekend if you want to pm me about meeting up - or anyone else as well. It's the garden up event Rose found out about.
