Hi all, hope lunch was nice Dove.

Just had a lazy meal, sausages, oven chips ( to warm the house ) , beans, mushrooms, and an egg for OH. image

Considering today was supposed to be wash out I've done a few things. Rest of veg into garden, few annuals & perennials planted, carrots into high sided containers, more lettuce sown and few plants potted on. Weeded veg plot and hoed the rest. Complained to Amazon about a non delivery and washed my feet 3 times , I am a mucky gardenerimage

Hope you got your mits clean Fidget image They will be back to normal tomoz' image

Hello folks image  Lunch was very good - roast gammon with a good fried egg on top, chips and coleslaw followed by Eton Mess image  However we went for the Seniors' Menu as the portions are a bit smaller image

Friend has given me vast numbers of plants - tomatoes include  San Marzano, Green Envy, Black Russian, Santa, Sungold and Alicante, also two patio cukes, a patio aubergine, a chilli and some red basil.

I had made a positive effort to reduce the number of tomatoes we're growing this year .............. foiled again imageimage

As Alan 4711 said earlier, the rain has been torrential - look here  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-27585524  - if you look at the one of Beatrice Road, that's right on top of the very steep Gas Hill which has a 20% gradient!!!  How can that flood like that?

Verdun never needs a simmit in sunny Cornwall  - do you love?image

Just as well that thing only has one speed - you'd never be away from it...image

What's the red basil like Dove? Taste wise I mean. image

Dove...you went for SMALL portions?  image

Smaller Verdun, not small image  And that was only lunch .......... we've just had a meat and three veg supper image

Just had a phone call from daughter who works with young adults with learning disabilities - please can she have some easy tomato plants for one of her young ladies who wants to grow tomatoes?  I think a few Gardener's Delight plants should fit the bill don't you? image
