I've got the rain now image Just when I was getting into my stride with the weeds. . . well celandine to be precise. Gosh but that was tedious. Was hoping to complete the bed so I could plant tomorrow, only got about a quarter done (it is quite a big bed, and I started later than intended!) Still, only dandylions and clumps of grass left, and with this rain they should come up nicely tomorrow image

Glad you had a good time with Ma and Pa Dove.

    KEF, any update re greenhouse?

Complete washout of a day here - but nice steady gentle rain will get those plants growing!  Did some GH jobs - my seed grown delphiniums and agastache are coming along nicely - probably will spend their first year in pots, and in the GH for the winter, ready to plant out next spring.  I have delphiniums in the garden grown this way a few years ago, and they are now huge beasts.  They seem to establish better for me that way than GC ones, which seem to expire the first season(probably been forced in a dutch hothouse somewhere).  Having said that, i have just put in a Blackmore and Langdon order, after drooling over their Chelsea stand.  But they will have been grown here, so hopefully will do ok.  I have Faust, Orpheus, Fanfare and Blue Dawn to look forward too.

Sorry, that was meant to be a quick post .....got carried away with my delphinium thoughts ......image

Chicky, I would love some delphiniums but don't think I could stand the battle against slugs and snails image

Rose - just cut and pasted from website so not sure. Where did you see charges?

EDIT - yep, just had another look and 'garden up' website says fee as you said. Have sent an email asking for clarification to sbg.
