Beautiful Lizzie image  I will dig out photos of the last house tomorrow to share.  Once we left our last place the new owners bulldozed the pergola, so sadly that  Cecille is no more.  But have one planted here to carry on the traditionimage

Edd, I admire anyone prepared to go out and rescue others but some of the tales of shorts and t shirts I've heard makes me realise I'd never have the ability to bite my tongue to be any use as a volunteer.

(I'm the kind of person who has a foil blanket in her bag for any walk further than Tescos meat isle!)

    Morning all!

Good morning all image The sun's shining and the temp only went down to 5C last night.

A gardening day is planned - OH will be wielding the lawnmower and shovelling compost, I will be hoeing, weeding and supervising image

imageGood Morning Dove and everyone..eek...sun is shining  and it's 7C and not a cloud in the sky. Towels in washer..you needed to know that!image

OH off to footie match and KEF's having a gardening day. Don't know what to do first, a cunning plan needs to be made over more tea.

    Lovely roses Lizzie.

Mattbeer well impressed by your GH.

Hope everyone one gets sunshine, I'll send you some Fairy.

    Morning KEF image

Yes, we're making plans and lists - what's the earliest acceptable time to wake the neighbours with the lawnmower? image

It's a rotten shame that I'm a bit under the weather - I've got an ear infection image it started in the cartilage of my outer ear the other day so I put some antiseptic cream on it and took some aspirin, but today my whole ear is swollen and crusty - I look like a rugby player (well that bit of me does) and the side of my head and neck are painful and the ear canal is a bit blocked - sorry if anyone's eating their breakfast imageimage

I shall have to carry on with the painkillers today and go down to the surgery tomorrow and stay there until someone can see me. The problem is that sitting in the waiting room is wasted gardening time image

Dove, sorry about ear. Keep it dry & don't broddle it...as if you would imagemust be thinking of me. Hope you aren't too long in the surgery. Maybe a supervising and not doing too much day is a better plan for you.

I think 9am is acceptable, people should be up if the sun is shining, you'll be doing them a favour.
