    Evening all.

Had a lovely walk in the woods; a lovely carpet of bluebells, with patches of wild garlic and ferns just starting to unfurl their fronds.

Managed to plant remaining Dahlia tubers outside, hopefully they will come through after the last frosts.

Right, better start cooking the tea for OHs return from work. Salmon wrapped in Palma ham, with Spinach and Puy lentils. Sounds nice, but wonder what it will taste like.

    See you later.

How can you lie there and think of England

Just had to dash out and get the towels off the line - a sudden silent shower of that very fine rain - a wonderful rainbow in the east.

Slight panic on here... Lodger next door(raised in a flat in inner city) came round. Last night she slept with a window open, and it rained....and a snail crawled in.....  and now its stuck to the bedroom wall.  OMG

So I got the chemical protection suit out and long rubber gloves...... No, not really.

I took it off the wall, took it outside, stamped on it and fed it to Mrs Mallard who has just turned up for dinner. LOL.

Evening all. Agapanthus I ordered just arrived through the post. Have just been out to pot them on. They have a really nice root system on them so hoping will settle into their new surroundings quickly.  Dove - know what you mean about the weather. Its been undecided today.

Fidget to the rescue thenimage. OH had to deal with a half eaten mouse the cat kindly left me this morningimage.

    Fidget.....imageimage

Big black 'bursty' clouds here earlier- managed to rescue the washing though image

Potted up my new Clematis and they seem happy enough. Don't you just hate those bits of tape stapled onto the canes etc? I never seem to be able to snip them off without a few delicate stems getting a haircut as well image

allium- it's when you find the 'eaten' bit chucked up a carpet ....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Just about to have my dinner - stop with the mice stories please.image

Wintersong - so depressing about your fence - its not just the mindless damage, but the hassleof getting things put right again.  Can you protect your plants from hobnail boots with upturned buckets or hanging baskets??

fairy - i did get a Daniel D last year - he is not very tall yet but has produced two saucer size flowers. Tbh, i would rather he put on a bit more growth really.

Mrs G - ernest markham is another of mine.  He's a group 3, so putting on yards of growth now, but don't expect flowers til July.

its funny that only my roses and clematis are he's and she's - the others are just "its"image
