I'm here again, didn't go to bed! I've been booking a little mini break for me and the 3 men in my life, think we could do with some quality family time, can't wait until March 28th
Chicky, I love your pic but excuse my ignorance, what is an auricula theatre, they look like Primulas so presume it's not the type of flower or have I got that wrong?? (Wouldn't surprise me LOL!)
Whiteheather, I'm puzzled what the b is for? I presume your real name isn't heather? I'm glad you're still with us too
Hi, all. Hard to keep up and reply to all the things I want to! Suffice it to say that I love this thread, and all on it!
Now, I don't have a sweet tooth, and don't bake many cakes, just a few for the kiddiwinks, but saw a new recipe for Yorkshire Puds on the telly the other night and would really like to show you all the results. Tried them next to my normal recipe, so will try to post a pic. Sent my oh back down to England with loads for his Mum!
The bottom pic is some of my old recipe compared to the new. It's a no-brainer of a choice, really, especially as the new recipe is so much quicker!
It's a bit of a shock to the system to be faced with that many Yorkshire Puds at this time in the morning
Chicky, I love auriculas - there were some in a little gravel bed in a previous garden I inherited - sadly flippin' builders' boots didn't do them much good grrrr - a bit hard to make a serious complaint when we were the building firm doing the work - I did reduce their cake ration tho'

Morning all - pleased it is now light enough to see the garden at this time in the morning
Thanks for all your comments on my auriculas - never had any before - and like Fairy, was not that sure whether i liked them previously - but their little faces are growing on me, so i need to watch i don't get hooked. But its nice to have something with flowers in the greenhouse, as well as all the green shoots. I am very excited that my cuttings from last year are all beginning to show signs that they have made it through their first winter - magic stuff, this propagating lark
Seeds all sown yesterday - germination watch starts here ...... Nothing to report thus far ......

Morning all,
Hello Whiteheather.
Lovely yorkies, Jeanie. Is it possible to give us the recipe?
