Morning all. Off for a quick look to see what you've all been doing before I go to work. Too tired last night after being awake so early and a very busy day at work getting the last of the Highland order away- right to the wire. We had some strawberries and ice cream as a reward though
Nice spuds Clari
I need to do the same chick- always looking at the stuff I need to do instead of enjoying what's there, although I did do a bit of that last night.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Clari, grand looking spuds and even better in the pan, I could just eat them, but it's toast for me. I grew mine in bags of MPC with organic potato feed added, no probs with compost baking but needed plenty of water.
How are you toms going? I've got a lot of small ones on Dave. GH ones not as many but plenty of flowers.
I've been out there and got photos. As OH said at silly oclock--you have to take photos of the rose., and I found some ladybird larvae, although what they are doing on nettles I dont know. I may relocate them to the broad beans.
Washing on, it should be a good drying day.
Lots of watering to be done before the sun gets too high. A boot full of plants are sorted for Barnsdale. Chicky, you may need a truck. Do you think we should warn them we are coming?
Morning all, although it feels like afternoon seen as my neighbour woke me AGAIN at 5.20 doing DIY!! What's that all about??
Lovely garden Chicky and I'm going to keep your little motto with me today and 'look for the good bits and not the bad'.
It is quite funny reading back over last nights posts re George and cucumbers....50 shades of gardening
Rebecca, you can laugh all you like but you'll be bonkers too before long......we will get you
I've just remembered I never fed my potatoes......I didn't realise I should which was very silly of me! Your spuds look fab Clari.
Kef, thank you I have lots of baby green toms, I posted a pic the other day as I was very excited when I saw the first ones. They have all been fed now

Blue skies are appearing over Norfolk - and my first sweet pea has flowered
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
