Yippee Lily! Not good you got soaked. If you were in a Jane Austin novel you would now have to take to your bed for a moth with a chill Luckily I didn't get too wet, and had on my Wellies and waterproof when I ventured out to Guides Good job too as I stepped in a massive puddle at the end of my drive - couldn't see it as the street light outside my house doesn't work
Hi all...soooooo much to catch up on today and can't catch up on everything!! Stacey, you seem a bit better in your comment about your friend's garden, hope you are on the mend.
Most importantly Verdun & Clarington.....I have one of those Volvos and I LOVE it, it was chosen for me and I honestly didn't think I would but it is the easiest car I have ever driven, and considering I have done almost 21k miles since last May that's some going! The auto stop does work and I have to turn it off at the M6 toll to be able to pay and get past the barrier!!! Cup holders may be a drawback but I can live with that. I seriously love it and will report back after the weekend on suitability for tip trips!!!!
Love the pics, very pretty, haven't read what everything is as full up with Thai curry and wine!!
Panda i dont fancy going to bed with a moth Hopefully i wont get a chill, did have to get changed as clothes were so wet, but nice hot cuppa and snuggled up on sofa all evening
Hmmm yes, wine Lily, OH birthday celebrations which in our house last a whole weekend so it would be rude not to!! In fact this year they are extending into next week as we are away in the Lakes with some friends. Just the two of us celebrations tonight, out with our boys tomorrow night then quiet (?) night in for the actual day on Sunday
Going to bed with a moth?? I could think of worse things to go to bed with.....last night I had to put up with the man (I presume) in the next room snoring VERY loudly!!!!! Was not amused
Where do you go to get so wet Lily, I think I missed it?
Walking home from work Tracey, lol. It was pouring down and the road near me was flooded so I was ankle deep in water and it was far too windy to hold my umbrella up, so I was completely soaked and resembled a drowned rat!!
