Dove, would be a pleasure, will require cake, wine and be allowed to steal any I fancy.

I've nipped in and sorted them Doveimage

Just been so nostalgic on another thread, wish I'd had a camera when I was 10. In fact wish I'd taken garden pictures prior to last Spring, only have a few.

Raining again, it had been mildish, 7C, but swiftly getting colder.

  • Well I've been out in the garden today to take some pics so I can do some before and after comparisons when I get it all transformed. Thinking about buying some seed potatoes to start chitting. Im having a go at growing in containers this year as I'm not sure how long it is going to take to get all the veg beds weeded and ready. Any suggestions of what varieties to try? Then I need to did out my seeds to see what I have got stashed from last year and what I need to get at the GC.

Hi Poddington, we had a thread running about spuds. I'll move it back up.

Due to lack of space I grow in potato bags and container, but only grow 1st earlies. I like Pentland Javelin, and this year I'm also trying Vales Emerald. I gather Lady Christi is very good can't find them locally and don't want enough to buy via internet.

  • Hi folks, poured with rain all day today, some roads flooded again.  Very cold tonight brrrrrrrrr.

Hope you've all had a good day.
