Hello Date night (well half night because we are home now!) was lovely, just a couple of hours chatting and catching up over a steak and bottle of wine. Back home now and youngest son is watching Forest Gump upstairs with his friend, it is so lovely to see her again, can't believe it's been a year! Eldest son has been I the phone all night it seems to his 'friend' who he is going to meet tomorrow......not so convinced she is a 'friend' to be honest and wouldn't leave them upstairs alone LOL!!
Anway welcome Janet and Lesley to the forum and Forkers thread, we are all bonkers on here but very friendly
Now then Heuchera Blackberry Jam, Dicentra (White and pink varieties!), Alliums......I think my OH may a block me from this forum as I've just told him we saved £20 on the cleaning today (we used to have a cleaner but finished her because she wasn't that good, was promised help in return for pocket money but don't get it!!) so tomorrow I am buying plants!!!!!! Guess which plants? I'm hoping that seen as the Dicentra may have finished flowering there might be some in the bargain corner And if I have enough left an Aganpanthus might jump in the basket (or trolley by this time!)
I'll check in tomorrow and let you know if I still have a husband
Thank you for the great welcome but I can see I will have problems keeping up with you all. If I ask stupid questions just think "ahh poor old soul" and either ignore me or speak slowly.
Actually I'm only 27+ and I'm sure they will stop giving out bus passes next year
You'll fit in just fine Lesley, I ask 'stupid' questions all the time and know I ask the same ones because I can't remember what the answer was!!! We are all 27 too (I think?? Maybe some do us are 26) so you'll fit in great.
Wait until we have a get together at the cabin......great fun
