Morning all. Sorry I wasn't there last night (at Verdun's neighbours!), although someone offered to beam me there, was that KEF? Memory like a sieve now I'm over 27. Italy Unpacked was on the telly and it's a long way for me.

    Bill, what does "otnorot" mean?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all - missed the bus and the tardis, but caught up on Winterwatch instead.  Have to say, not a big fan of the reintroduction of wolvesimage.

lots of taxi duty today - but have some GQT's and RHS podcasts downloaded to keep me entertained.  Also an opticians appointment - think i will leave my birdcount til after that - might improve my identification skills if i can see better.  Just found out treeman is coming to chip up the remains of our trees at 10 - so that'll scare most of the birds off this morning anywayimageimage

BL 'otnorot' is toronto backwards image

Is anyone else having a problem getting onto the RSPB website to do the count?  I'm having to do it with paper and pen image

Well chaps its not looking good. I've been out hunting and not a single Haggis got caught in my traps. I've climbed the mountain in both directions looking!

Well if the Hagii do not eat the I will.

Why did you girls let me drink so much last night?

    Sorry about your grasses Verdun.

Chicky I have to say I am very much for the wolves. We need something to control the deer in the Highlands. How about some lynx as well?

I'm going to have to educate all you southerners....haggis have to be well hung (image) before eating on Burns night. That's why I've not been around recently - been out hunting them for the last few weeks in the West Highlands (only place they live)  and it's why you won't find any.....

    And if you believe that.............image

PS I hate haggis. Must be the English half of me. I'll have the neeps and tatties though image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
