Bill, forkers are gardeners. We use a garden fork for forking the soil over.I don't know whether you have ever seen the two ronnies sketch on fork handles or four candles, but it's all in the accent.
Hi fidget, yes think you're right, i'll just put the lights out and make sure we're all locked up. Shhhhh be very quiet they've all nodded off. Nite nite everyone
Clari my feet wouldn't have been cold if you hadn't kept nicking the duvet off them.
Apologies Lily, I left you on the naughty step on the camera thread. Not that you stayed there!
Hi Bill, you found us during an evening of daftness, we were pretending to be at Verdun's home in Cornwall where the weather is a lot milder. Think we have all gone a bit stir crazy. Go back to Fidgetbones post a few back from this and she has explained about Forkers. You sound very well for your senior years Sorry to hear that son's health is now fading faster, kind thoughts are being sent to you and your family.
Good morning all - think I slept through the party
Glad you found us Bill - as KEF said, kind thoughts from us to you and your family.
Much too wet here to walk this morning, and if we get a dry spell I shall be doing the Garden Birdwatch Count so I'll let myself off the walk this morning - besides that chaise longue's not the most comfortable of beds Verdun - my hip is sore this morning
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It rained heavily in the night but currently stopped, forecast is dry until it starts again around 2pm. However, same as you Dove too wet to walk other than on pavements.

Oh good Panda, yep few more logs on the fire, that should keep us going for a bit longer. More wine anyone?
Time for bed, Lily. Night night.
