My OH has been on his knees! Well, he proposed at Kings Cross Station. He used to live in Scotland and I was in Essex. I'm the bad child that broke her ring! image Never doing flat pack again!

Just got in from garden lecture on magnolias.  Fascinating fact for you - magnolia Leonard Messel will have whiter flowers if the weather is cold when the flowers are forming in early spring, and pinker if it is warmimage.  Will be watching mine carefully in future!  Had a lovely evening - its great listening to people who are passionate about their subject - lifts the soulimageimageimage

  • Ooh will try and remember that Chicky, you'll have to put pics of your magnolia on to show us. Always fancied getting a magnolia.

Morning all - only 2 days til the weekend!

does anyone know when the GC's start stocking this years seeds?  Went to the GC on Monday and it was only last years stock on sale, and very limited choice.  Had to ensure it was not a wasted journey by investing in a half price winter honeysuckle (smelt sooo good, it had to be rescued) - which is currently on trial in the courtyard to see if the deer will leave it alone.
