  • Morning all. Don't know if its the calm before the storm, but what a beautiful sunny day here in sussex. For some reason forgot about clocks, remembered all day then went completely out of my mind. Need to rake grass again for acorns, there can't be many more up there surely.

Hope you all have alovely day and wind freeimage

    See you later

Callm here, but not expected to get bad til tonight.  Panicking a bit as littlest chicklet is off to the Isle of Wight for a couple of days, leaving this afternoon.  Know it is not much of a "sea voyage" and they will cancel the ferries if it gets rough, but would still rather have my brood round me if there is going to be a dramaimage.

going to cut down some of my taller perennials today - save them getting flattened.

stay safe peeps, and keep in touch as the storm progressesimageimageimage

Calm and sunny here again. Crossing fingers we will miss the worst of it.

Overnight I seem to have become the target of a fairly vitriolic pm from a name i dont recognise which seemed to suggest that I was a major part of the problem and not someone trying to solve it { which I thought I was doing }Now I am old enough and ugly enough to take care of myself, but for those of you who may be a little more sensitive be warned.

Love to all the decent, friendly people who make this site a light hearted informative place to be. There are some genuinely good people on here who impart knowledge and try to help people going through difficult times. I had hoped that I was one of these people, but maybe not.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Good Morning everyone... nice day here, so far. Have watched the "Saints" steamroller Fulham twice on the highlights. Good way to use up the extra hour in bed. Off to Village shop soon to tie down anything that moves. I am hoping the Met office is erring on the side of caution, but it is still going to be a difficult time for all. If you have to go out tomorrow , please take care.
