Verdun, I occasionally wonder whether the golf club would miss a few barrowloads of those leaves, but really don't think I could push a barrowful up the hill
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
HW doesn't agree with me, confuses my brain. Done all HW I'm doing today and just had a look at new posts. Typed a load about why you don't prune a Viburnum bonariensis to the ground & thankfully before posting I realised the thread said Verbena.
Been a cold and dry day here, frustrated because everything is still so wet, was willing to miss out on housework if I could have done things in the garden. Suppose it will dry out eventually.
We haven't had any cake 'cos it's a Fast Day - supper in half an hour (cold rare roast beef and HM coleslaw) ......... then we can have a piece of cake for pudding
Toad in the Hole KEF? That's a favourite here - think it's a possible for next week mind you, we might need to fast more than usual next week - we've got a weekend of eating out with friends in London coming up

Happy birthday Woody, hope you enjoyed your lunch outing.
Was going to garden today, but it poured. Should have done housework but looked at gardening and plug plant catalogues instead. Just cleaned 1 loo and put towels in washing machine.
Now going to make fish pie.
