Morning all. Cloudy, but sunny periods 18° are forecast.
Going riding with a friend this morning, Leclerc supermarket this afternoon. OH says if I'm back early enough he'll take me to the Wok place for lunch.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all, rain already arrived here, its absolutely pouring down.
So wanted to get out in the garden.
Also wanted to clean the conservatory windows...perhaps I'll just do the insides.
Kef, my turn to have a funny dream lol......I dreamt Mr and Mrs Chicky built me a pergola with some trellis fencing......they both wore masks and false beards lol.....must be something to do with your daffodil walk pic!!
Nope, I haven't taken them, youngest son has had a lift with OH who was going that way. Eldest - now renamed Mr Attitude has walked and is very late because he chose to start having a go at me!!!!! Grrrrrrr...........
LOL at your dream Lily, were they people or chicks?? I can't remember my dreams very often but did sleep quite well last night at last
Well done OL! Hard sometimes to stand firm as a mum. My son wanted to go to school in his oh bottoms, I said fine, he chose to wear full uniform, no tantrum for a change, no tv either for other reasons. Right im off...
Catch Clari ... ....just for you to get you through to the weekend
Thank you Mrs G! Its rather needed right now. I shall try to cheer my grumpy little self up looking at potential breeds of chickens and cages. I do so tend to over research things once I've gotten started - I used to be able to identify sheep a mile off because I once saw a poster of different breeds of sheep at the butchers and went on a researching mission.
Morning all...I just had my bathroom ceiling collapse on me but it was alright because Prince William was here to fix it...then I woke up
Oh dear! Less cheese for us all I think!! I dreamt last night that I was looking after a friends baby who unfortunately had rather the bowel explosion and ended up being washed in the kitchen sink. All terribly random but she's attending a midwife and doula convention today / yesterday and so spent all day yesterday tweeting updates so she put babies in my head a little.
Brought myself a dress and tartan sash yesterday to attend a friends wedding in August. Its bad news when your specification for a dress goes:
1. Must be purple (brides request)
2. Must be able to cope with English weather (Yorkshire weather does not discriminate - it'll rain all year round)
3. Must be able to climb into the truck without flashing my knickers as my Land Rover is being used to get the groom to the wedding
4. Must be able to cope with potential jump starting / attending break downs as all the vehicles attending the event are a mix of VW camper vans and Land Rovers
5. Carry a Scottish theme (found out the family moto on our crest is "no fear" !)
I'm telling you blokes and their just picking a suit up have it easy - do you know how hard it is to find a pretty clutch bag you can fit screw drivers and an adjustable spanner in?! Who designs these things?!
Clark - wow- that's a long list of requirements for an outfit for the wedding! Glad you got it sorted
All good here - although it is still raining..again! Where is the nice weather?
Ol- know what you mean about LO strops. My DD had a major one this morning as she hadnt got her school bag ready when I asked her to and consequently left late for school..
I think a tartan suitcase might be more suited! We're all convinced it is not possible to get that many old vehicles together without one breaking down. It'd have been much more appropriate if they'd suggested we all wore our overalls that we normally live in!
Hmm... I wonder if you can get purple overalls I may have just solved the problem!!
Its proving very grey and dull today. I hope the locals around here weren't hoping to get much done in the garden it looks likes we've lost the lovely BBQ weather we had over the bank holiday for a while.

Well, better get on - housework awaiting!
Rather than HW I think I'll go and plant my Veronica I have kept telling myself I shouldn't be a fair weather gardener.
Clari
maybe you could have bought a tartan suitcase instead of a clutch bag
Agree that less cheese should be eaten by peeps on this thread
problem is I don't need cheese to have silly dreams.
Right, best welly forward
