Fidget, my love to you and yours.

Evening all. Had a lovely evening at Guides tonight, a lovely way to finish my week. And tomorrow is the weekend! And if I believe the forcast at the top of the page I should get my wish for some sun image Thank you fellow Forkers for fixing that for me image

So, jobs to do are long on the list, but first is a trip to get my nails done (always makes me smile) and then a shopping trip for a friend's birthday present. Have no idea what to get her. She has no garden so gardening bits are no good image Am also meeting Momma Panda so will have some hugs and a good time with her image

Good morning all image  I got back from my walk in the drizzle an hour ago and have been catching up with emails and drinking coffee.   I know our forecast is for sunshine, but it doesn't look promising - I think today might be a baking and knitting day.

((hugs)) for all that need them today.

You were up very early Dove, couldn't you sleep?

Weather here looks pretty grim, but at least its dry (at the mo)

Housework and washing for me this morning. Then oldest son coming round to watch footie on the tv with his dad.

Fidget best wishes and hugs to you and your family, thinking of you.

Clari hope your back is much better

Good morning Lily - I slept really well thanks,  but we were early to bed as OH needed to be at work for 7 so I was wide awake at 6 image

Just dashed out and saw a heron flying over the garden towards the marshes, calling as it went image

OH brought some slightly over-ripe pears home from the farm shop yesterday, so I think I might bake Delia's Pear and Almond Streusel Cake later today image

Good Morning. Dry & some sun hereimage

Dove well done with your early walks, bet it's good to see the wildlife waking up.  Lily hope weather does stay dry for you.

    Hugs for Fidget.

Too early for me to decided on today's cunning plan. Just hoping it stays dry.

Off to London today to see Richard IIimage.  Its my favourite Shakespeare (because i studied it at school), and David Tennant plays the lead role.  Its had rave reviews, so i am hoping it will be good.

Before that i will find time to wander round the garden in the daylight ( a rare treat at the moment) just to see whats growing !

  • Morning kef, sun is just starting to peek through, so its looking hopeful here. Needs a few days like this tho as the garden is still so very wet. Some plants looking very sorry for themselves after sitting in so much water image

Cake sounds yummy, Dove, i'll put the kettle on about 3 30 imageimage

  • Ooops sorry Chicky, I missed you, morning. Have a lovely day enjoy David Tennantimage
