Ha ha Flumpy, the neighbour that woke us up this morning is actually lovely and he probably didn't even realise what time it was or how much noise he was making!!! It was a one of I'm sure so not overly bothered
Ice buns look lovely by the way, but I'm being good........I'm a bridesmaid in 7 weeks
OL, you're being a very good girl, haveyou got your dress yet?
Think I will use my pot for flowers, poss my hostas and then something new to go with them. Thinking of getting a half barrel for the water feature, lol my list keeps getting longer !!
Good morning all Soft rain happening at the moment, but the weather man assures me that it's only so that I can do a little housework first thing and that soon the sunshine will arrive and I can go out and play
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
The rain will be washing my rose food in. Sweetpeas survived their first night in open ground, but will now have to fend for themselves for the day, as my office beckons.
Dry here but there's been a good bit of rain to water all the new plants in. Will pot up the clematis when I finish work -Niobe, Duchess of Edinburgh and Miss Bateman. 3 for £12 at Homebase. I'll let them get a bit bigger before I put them in their final place. What plants have you got planned for your lovely new bed chick?
Best go for my shower and breakfast now.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning Fairy - New bed needs some thinking about - its a bit shady and needs to be deer proof. So some shrubs for a bit of structure, ferns and hostas, and I'm thinking a drift of alliums running through for this time of year. But will no doubt change my mind a few times before a spade is lifted
I love Duchess of Edinburgh and have grown her in a couple of previous gardens - I find she's a bit hesitant to get going and quite fussy about where she lives - but once she gets her toes right down she's gorgeous. I've a feeling I've let her get swamped by an Alpina in this garden - don't know whether she'll cope or whether I ought to rescue her

Hi, buns look lovely Stacey, yes please
MrsG, saw your pic of arch, looks lovely.
John, very kind of you but my pms never work.
Sounds like everyone has had a good day in the garden, so lucky with the weather.
But Mrs. Garden, I don't want my echinaceas to turn into weeds, I have enough weeds already!
