Back from our round trip to Nottingham - feeling a teensy bit flat. Gave Fidget a wave as we swooped past
Ankle can now be walked on and is developing a kaleidoscope of colours. Will rest it as much as possible (that means W&P Fairy .....not sure yet either). Think I will work from home tomorrow - its the left foot, and I don't think a clutch wiuld be too clever at this stage
Will do Fidget - but can I decline any special porridge in advance. Next time we venture that way the weather should be better, so maybe we could arrange a garden meet - I am hankering after a Chatsworth visit
Managed a read back, Chicky hope that ankle feels better tomorrow, bad luck.
Hazel, sorry about your cooker, it is odd how mishaps and inconveniences do seem to come in 3's.
WW, glad your tooth is settled, I'm back at the dentist tomorrow, not looking forward to it, knocked me quite sick last week. , The cat den sounds fab, our poor cat is in hiding as our guests have 2 little dogs who just want to play with him - and he most definitely doesn't want to be played with.
Some interesting porridge ideas, wonder if my guests would like to try them.
I invited some of Charlie's school friend's over today to meet the new little girl starting there tomorrow, thought it would break the ice for her. It went really well, they played great together, but I didn't expect all the parents to come and spend the day here too. Haven't managed to do a thing in the house and because I am on a healthy eating drive I hadn't got any cake or biscuits to offer so felt a rather poor hostess.
Have another paying guest checking in tomorrow, hope he likes dogs and children, we seem to have an abundance here Also have to do airport run , OH off to Amsterdam and then of course the dreaded dentist and if I am up to it Hip Hop class. Seems like we are back to normal.
Enjoy your evening all, I am giving W&P a miss and heading up for an early (ish) night.

Any one watching Dickensian? That's quite good too, shame it's only 30mins at a time tho. BBC1 on Wednesdays.
Chicky, hope your ankle is ok, sprains are really painfull. I broke my foot a few years ago, but didn't go for an xray for a few days because I thought it was just a sprain. Take care hugs.
Hazel, what a clever OH, glad oven is mended.
Dove, would you work out this tricky bit in my knitting pattern if I fling it over? Its driving me nuts
Wonky, glad tooth is getting better, can you turn the volume up a tad, can only just hear it here

You should have called in, chicky. Next time, give me a bit of advance notice and I can bake a cake.

Chatsworth is really nice in May. Bluebells in the woods and orchids by the long canal
We've had fish pie. Will be watching War and Peace.
Sent you a PM Wonky, don't know if you get email notifications.

Fidget, I would be up for Chatsworth. I try to go a few times during the year, as it is only a few miles away.
