Fidget, did you fess up? Or are you hoping he will ask for seconds?  Heston would be impressed, I'm sure.  Nice to have a chuckle just as I'm going to bed. image

Apologies to everyone - I've not been reading posts for a while and just occasionally jotting something inconsequential down, have just read back and my earlier post is completely confusing - I should remember to check before the send button. My visitors are my late daughters husband (not sure if I want to still call him SIL) because I'm still feeling bad about my daughters last months with him. However, he is bringing our grandson down for a visit so that'll be good, I hope. First time we've seen him in 2 years and he is now 11.

wonky, so glad your friend contacted you. The fires are still going, but not as bad as they were. Hazel, ditto for your cousin.

have enjoyed reading Hostas explanation - amazing how the media can make things worse than they are. Also loved the photos of snow and talk about the various activities - sorry about Chicky's ankle.

I really should get to sleep - after midnight again,

    Hi all.

    Sunny but very cold here.

Been walking round the garden, trying to make plans for next year. Far too wet too actually do anything.

    Enjoy your day.

I thought it was odd when he said there was a chunk of apple in, I put apple in with the cabbage , onion and balsamic to give a sweet sour flavour that is ok with sausages but not with porridge. Better than snail porridge though. I've just got to get rid of the onion tang now.

Oh hello Verdun, you've decided to come back here and talk about plants now image, having raised merry hell about immigrants and refugees.
