Morning, I've been a lazy bones.

    Nice barrow Clari.

Who asked about lilies? MIne in pots are showing just a tiny bit. Think it's because they've been wrapped up in fleece to protect pots from frost and we've only had 2 heavy frosts. Can't win!

Dull & damp here, you know what is forecast for later. Yesterday's sun was so uplifting. I might keep the conservatory blinds down and draw a great big yellow sun on one image  BFN

Lily, thanks, I wasn't upset personally, just "put out" that on such a lovely day we had more upset on the forum.  Hopefully all will be okay today image

    Stacey love the soft toy.

Stacey that soft toy is lovely! I'd happily be attacked by that than the thing that got me this morning (no cheese last night!)

Quiet day in the office this morning so I'm being productive writing my to do list for the garden... its getting rather long!!

Hi everyone, thanks for your concern, it is genuinely touching how much fellow forumers support each other.

Things are looking a lot better here; water is receding fast, I can now see the borders starting to re-emerge from out of the water. need to find a builder to look at roof and, I shall sort out the greenhous today.

Clari, that nightmare sounds horrid. I tend to get nightmares when I am very stressed, fortunately that is not occuring nearly as much since I left work. Good luck with the list, I shall probably start another today.

Ww, wonderful to be seeing those harbingers of summer.

I know we are supposed to ignore the WUM, but he winds me up so much that, I just want to have a go back.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Just had half an hour digging on the veg patch then OH called me in for a coffee - it's lovely out there if a bit nippy - sorry to all those whose gardens are still too boggy to do anything to - mine is so free-draining that everything needs watering loads in the summer or it gets parched, so I do pay the price a bit.

  • Doc - good to see you and hear that you're able to move forward a little bit.

Don't let the WUM get to you - it's what he does it for - to try to spread upset - patterns keep being repeated - but he can only spoil things if we take notice of him - and we don't  image

As for the allegations that some of us post secretly under multiple identities ....... if he really believes that he should go to Daniel and the Mods as it's contrary to the Code of Conduct - but he doesn't really believe it - he just says it to try to make people doubt the authenticity of the friendships that have developed on here.  It all sounds rather sad.

Morning all. Lovely sunny day. Must get on with pruning, beds too wet for much else. May sow some more petunias. First batch are just germinating, trailing ones.

That WUM (if it's the one I think) has caused trouble before, but some supported him. But our regular lovelies, well, we all know who they are image

Doc, glad that the canoe isn't needed. Hopefully your plants will have had little snorkels on.

Dove's son knows a builder/roofer, slapped hands I know it isn't funny, just wanted to make you smile. Have an enjoyable time in GH.
