It's been snowing here for the past two hours - and if it carries on there will be a fair accumulation. It could be worse though. Looks like it may freeze though - it's not really got above zero or one today and it's back to below now. The birds are wearing boots and hats now - and carrying snow shovels....
Pat - if you go into your server settings, you should be able to determine the pages you want immediately when you open your 'pooter'. I have mine set to open the main Yahoo /email page and this forum. I then just click on latest posts. I never log out the forum either.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I just told son that Fairy said it was snowing there. He said 'it's not going to snow here' but I asked him why the top of the front wall was white. It's going to look as though it's snowing inside tomorrow as OH is going to pain the ceiling.
It's good that you've got the phone working again GWRS. I wonder if Liri's still on the 'phone sorting her insurance.
Finally got through to insurance call centre just before lunch, after a total of 62 mins and 10 secs on hold, and immediately gave the (surprised) young man my phone number, to ring me back if we got cut off again. We did, of course... phone ran out of battery just as I was giving payment details, but he rang back straight away and everything is now sorted.

Changed my car insurance last night. Big increase for the renewal so I'm off...found a better deal
