greetings from........ Hurghada? no, Egypt? no. How about Chania in Crete? Yes of course that's where we are. "incident" on plane caused us to divert to dump a passenger off then wings froze and they have no deicing equipment here. Overnight stay in hotel, no food, no help from easy jet, Think we're leaving at 2.30
Oh heck, Hosta. At least you won't be bored with this holiday. Something to tell everyone about one day, as an exciting way to holiday. Best wishes for a better result soon.
Whoops! Sorry ....... manners! Good morning folks G'day Pat
Glad you're friend's getting sorted out. You'll have to tell him, if a similar occasion arises in future he must let you help ......... not for his sake of course, but for the little dog!

We had to wait on the plane while the cabin chief went to police station to give a report. She was brought back, then half an hour later ,they came back and took her away again. HUng about for ages, then they couldn't deice the wings, so we had to get off and, eventually taken to a hotel.
We ordered dinner at 10pm and by 00.40 it still hadn't arrived, so we cancelled it.
Oh dear, Hostafan. The first time I went to Hurghada, we were due to fly Air France from Gatwick to Cairo. Air France went on strike. We ended up going British Midland to Schipol, then KLM to Cairo. When we got to Cairo, our transport had cleared off as we were 8 hours late. No help from England. We had to hire a minibus and two drivers to get us to Hurghada, through the night, through the desert with barely a road, let alone lights. Good diving though.

Hi Obelixx. Not sure what time it is where you live, but it must be late?
Hubby not back yet, so still waiting to hear what he found out from his mate.
