SGLily, I wish I could send some sun to you.

Hazel, did you have a look at the 4wheel drive down on the lower right side of the photo of the broad band tower?

Chicky, thinking of you and OH.

    Panda, what did you win?

there was a little baby hair outside the window pretending to be a rock when it heard me pull the curtains back. Trouble is, it didn't know that rocks don't have two upright ears on them usually.image

I guess you all know by now that I meant hare, not hair. image I need to be more careful before I hit the send button.  Darned spell checker.

Cooking up yet again more strawberries with raspberries and loganberries added this time. I can't decide whether to leave then out for the birds or persevere with preserving them. It all seems futile to be making so much effort to do it, until winter comes around and then I'll be glad to have them. image

I went for a wander down to the orchard yesterday to collect loganberries and check on other trees and HRH and I disturbed a brown snake. Made a quick exit and walked back through the lavender rows and was shocked to see that they have all suddenly produced long flower stems. I hadnt noticed (looking from the house), so this morning Hubby is down there repairing the irrigation pipes and sprayers. We'Ve not watered since last summer, so as usual I regard them as amazing plants. They thrive on neglect (which suits us at this time since we can't spare the effort or time to be fussing around - too many jobs to look after).

I'm off to town for an eye test and probably new glasses this afternoon.  image

    Morning all/afternoon Pat,

Helluva rain through the night many local rivers on amber flood watch.

Out to stretch the legs between showers this morning before work and bumped into an old brock out for a wander. He looked me up n down then wandered on.
