Morning all. Gloomy damp day here after high winds and even more rain through the night which woke me up. Think our 'Amber alert' might now be over though. What's that about anyway? They just used to say 'high wind and a sh**load of rain'. Isn't that enough of an alert? Does everything have to be dramatised? Hope the ferries are back on soon or Liri's not going to get home anytime soon.
W'song - I know what you mean. Here's hoping things can turn round but it's hard to see it right now.
Pat - don't envy you that heat Hosta will be ready to jump on a plane and join you though!
Hosta - didn't watch it - watched Lewis and cried at the end. Silly old bint...

Thanks for the info Dove and Topbird. I don't think we have a problem yet. At least you might end up with a nice new corner - a change is as good as a holiday, they say.
ive discovered bacterial canker in my Plumcot and havent done anything about it yet. I'll probably live to regret my inactivity.
