Should have added a couple of extra zeros too Hostie
I immediately made a donation T'bird. I often donate to different things as I see fit, and recently ended a DDebit to Red Cross, so I think I'll do one for Mountain Rescue now. Most hillwalkers are decent people who respect the rescue services, and wouldn't dream of behaving like that. There's already been talk about it on the walking site I use. Perhaps climbers are just that bit more 'selfish' (that's the polite term) - really don't know.
Glad you enjoyed the choc
Love those cards DD
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Can you guess how I spend my evenings? I've had those links saved since April ready to use for messy play at work!
I'm not ready for Christmas yet. I'm not entirely sure I'm ready for October. Its been manic at work with (I'm convinced) more schools in this month than I've had in the past six! BUT due to having worked so hard I do have most of December off which'll be nice (what will I do with myself??)
Hope you're all well. I'm trying to read back and work out what's going on but I can't keep up and my brain hurts from my training course today!
I'm blaming Topbird, she's a bad influence - large G&T taken here - VERY LARGE having been doing 'hard sums' with my pension chap I think I've earned it, even if I've had to sit down rather suddenly
However he's assured me I don't have to stand on street corners down by Carrow Road this winter - there may come a time if I live long enough
Did someone say Edd has a sense of humour
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Thinking about getting up, but there doesn't seem much point in doing so.
Hubby is doing a refresher course for his first aid certificates which he needs to keep updating for the fire brigade volunteer work he does. The incompetents in town were supposed to arrange two courses through the winter but now that the fire season has officially reached that date, they've decided to do both courses on the same weekend, so he'll be gone both days. No point in expressing my opinion on their efficiency.
punkdoc, I struggle along on my mini iPad, and am getting used to fitting finger tips on undersize buttons. It is handy if you're still in bed, though. Don't forget to keep the charging cord nearby.
Gertie, hello again. I'm sure you're just getting lost in the crowd. Easy to do.
I'd like to see Verdun joining Sir Tom's dance routine.
Can't think what else I read earlier, but spec ting an interesting report from Hosta's holiday.

DD I love your fingerprint Rudolphs! So much more fun than the ones I get to do all day.
If you get adventurous you can try making Santa's sleigh with flying Rudolph...
