Wow Lizzie, what a chatterbox you must be. Have a great trip to the UK, hope all goes as planned.
Pdoc, most of my daffs are still in the bag, hope that makes you feel better, we are not lazy we prioritise.
Good luck with car Kef, I am yet to convince OH we need a 2nd car.
Glorious day again, tidied up roses and leaves - again, very windy so it feels a bit cooler this evening. Making bangers & mash with onion gravy for dinner with an apple crumble (Delia style with oats and raisins) for pudd. Just feels like one of those evenings when you need some warm comfort food, especially as I have to go out to a meeting afterwards.
Have a nice evening all, hope Hosta's bottom is even smaller now and Verdun's niece has managed to get some ice-cream down her.

Some fog on the Fenland part of the journey, but dear Lola has brilliant fog lights so as long as we took it steadily we were ok. Most people were driving well, apart from an idiot in a black Audi with a number plate 'adjusted' to read JERK U !!! At least he was warning everyone that he was a complete ****er!!!
Fifty tulip bulbs arrived while we were away so as soon as the weather improves this week I'll be planting some of them in the front garden amongst the wallflowers - the rest are for Wonky. Glad she and her lovely hub had a good weekend with their friends
Hope all the sick and injured had a good weekend and are well on the road to recovery!
OH has unloaded the car and now the house is warming up and a takeaway has been ordered and is on its way
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Nice to see you're still chatting away... my netbook has indeed bitten the dust, so I can only post here when my OH relents and gives me access to this laptop, which is officially his. So no time to read back much... but a little bird has mentioned that I might be getting a tablet for Christmas.
My spring bulbs are still in the bag, DD and Punkdoc. Mum has been the priority recently; she moves on Wednesday, and hopefully all is under control and sorted out so that things go smoothly. With luck I might get the bulbs in the ground before I go to Scotland a week tomorrow.
Right. What's for tea?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hello folks - we're home

Well hello, Forkers!

Do you know what Make me Smile's about doc?...I'll give you a clue if you like
I particularly enjoyed his acoustic tour, with his brother, donkey's years ago
Congrats to OH Steve - looks like a lovely meal
Didn't know they were making Yarises then KEF....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
OK - so I'd like some (actually - a lot) of Steve's fish soup for my tea followed by some of KEF's damson gin - yummity yum yum
...and P'doc serenading in the background.
I've been 'prioritising' too (nice one DD!) - with 4 bags of allium bulbs.
Very foggy all day here - quite spooky - quite like it
