Steve - I agree with Fidget - sounds like a scam I've heard of.  Phone your bank on the number you always use.  image

Miserable weather - wet, windy and dark image

Have spoken with Wonky - she's still feeling a bit grim.

    Roll on spring ...

I've just watched David Attenborough on the great barrier reef.  Its amazing. 40 years ago I used to watch things like that and dream that one day that would be me. My father always said I would be disappointed. My grandmother said I could do anything I put my mind to.

I sat there today, and watched him on Lizard island, Osprey reef and the Yongala.

I've dived on Osprey reef for a couple of days, Lizard Island on three separate trips, and the Yongala on two trips.   Been there, done that and got the T shirt.

Now I just need that submarine to go down a couple of hundred metres instead of a 100 feet.  Never satisfied , thats me...

    Wasn't that submarine wonderful?!

I think it's be great for David A to be able to do all that - he's no spring chicken any more - I was at an exhibition opening where he was a guest a couple of years ago and I stood next to him for a while - he has the most beautiful skin and  such a twinkly smile.  I'm so glad he's still having adventures image

I think the BBC has a lot of wannabees who want to step into his shoes.... Not a chance. When he goes, the whole wildlife loving world will mourn.

I've just fleeced the lemon in the frost free greenhouse, and shoved a couple more plants in the unheated polytunnel.  I hope the polytunnel doesn't decide to go flying again. Getting it back out of my garden was one thing. The neighbours might not be so keen.

  • Adore David Attenborough and watch all that he does, was brought up watching him with my dad and true I definitely donthink he can be replaced. Sorry Dove that Wonky is still not well imagesend my regards, take it the wind is getting up where you are fidget? . Hot bath then night in front of rubbish telly or PS4 for me. Dry but very windy here. The eucalyptus is doing a lot of waving about.
