Panda - glad you're enjoying the new job. Makes a real difference doesn't it? Even when the alarm goes and it's dark outside and you don't want to get up
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
In a rush this morning as I've had a lazy start to the day! Just watched last night's EastEnders not realising that it was an hour long episode!!! Spooky!
Food shopping, then hopefully a couple of hours walk.
Hope you all have a great day and Happy Halloween to all that celebrate it.
Sorry to hear that your niece has now caught an infection Verdun, hope that she quickly recovers from it.
Lovely pics Pat, and hope you enjoyed your supper.
Must dash, take care esp those out after dark tonight, have fun and keep safe!
Daughter 2 with GD and GS and her OH are coming to lunch today, going after lunch tomorrow. We'll have a bonfire and eat finger foods like sausage rolls and pizza pieces tonight.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Mr Chicky came home from hospital yesterday, and is now catching up on lost sleep. He feels pretty good apart from the tiredness - will be a challenge to keep him quiet and rested for the next few weeks. Think I might turn into a bit of a nagging wife. Thanks again for all your support - you are a lovely lot
I have a box full of bulbs waiting (ordered before all the troubles started) - think i will have a go at getting them in the ground and in pots over the course of this weekend. It will be lovely to do some actual gardening .....have read enough magazines to keep me going for a while ....and two lovely books about allotments by Kay Sexton if anyone wants a reading recommendation.
Hope Verdi's niece makes a swift recovery- what bad luck to pick up an infection in there
Saw this on a trip to Wisley last week .....made me smile
Chicky, glad you've got Mr Chicky home - hope he's feeling better soon - if you can't keep him quiet tell him you'll call on the Forkers to supervise him - we can be very fierce!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

And you are not old fashioned Fairy. There is little help or encouragement for young people these days for anything
Verdun, hope your neice recovers from her infection. Would say she's in the right place, but as that's where she picked it up ......
It really does Fairy
