Thanks for all the hugs and good wishes, means a lot. OH had a good night, although like Pat said bed was hard and he had a nasty draught up the back of his gown all night.Charlie alright but now worried about how Daddy will to get to the loo attached to all the wires, I've told him the hospital know all about these things but he does have one of those questioning minds, least he is not upset just concerned about the mechanics of things.
I'm hoping that is it with misfortune for now, 3 things - Shadow, my burn and now this. Shadow is happy, my arm is on the mend and hopefully after the tests today OH will get some medicine and all will be right with the world again.Fingers crossed.
Have a good day in the 'city' Dove, used to lunch at Carluccio's when I was working in the 'city', very tasty.
To all that follow, good day to you all.

Ooooooooh! Just read back Dd!!! Poor OH and you and Charlie! ((hugs)) Glad it doesn't seem too serious (the things some people will do to get out of cutting hedges etc).
Fingers crossed that your run of crises is over now
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Have a good time in the city Dove Jo I hope your day passes quickly and the weekend can start. Same wish for all the workers.
My thermometer worked OK yesterday from about 9am but isn't showing the temperature again this morning. I think it's trying to deny anything from zero to minus numbers exist. I really must get the agapanthus sorted.
DD, I hope your OH is well. Having done the eight miles in eight minutes in the back of an ambulance with my other half, to bypass a and e and go straight into cardiac intensive care, I know how worrying it is. He was fine after the clotbuster. I lost 7 lb in 7 days. It didnt help when he was moved out of intensive care onto an ordinary ward, and the nurses forgot to phone me. I walked in to find his bed empty and his name rubbed off the board. Fifteen years on and he is still fine with no further episodes.
Hostafan, Moo.
No really I wont drop in as my new sister in law gave me a stinking cold as a wedding present. She insisted on hugging me, then told me how unwell she was. We said no presents. Huh.
I'm currently trying to steam it out. We will call in at Rosemoor, then head for home. We run my aussie friend back to the airport tomorrow.
Morning all. I'd like to be able to see the thermometer this morning Lesley - a right fug here! You have one of those Scottish ones - they like to trick you into thinking it's warm. Hope I don't have to scrape the windscreen this morning - bit of a shock yesterday when I put the wipers on to clear the 'condensation'....
Steve - now I remember why we miss you! I think, in Hosta's case, it was being used to cook sausages
Have a grand day out Dove
More cheques received yesterday - thanks to all. The total so far is about £240, about £165 is from forumites Glad you're enjoying our 'wee daun'er' on the slideshow
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
