You sound very organised fidget image

Meant to say earlier LP - think that may be the last cut for the grass unless it turns very mild or we get some kind of Indian autumn never mind summer! Been lovely today, pity I had to work.

The early fog meant I was able to get these - on the front hedge

  • Lovely pics fairy. Love dewy or frosted cobwebs. Just don't like the spiders!!image

Glorious weather today. Cut the grass back and front. Hopefully for the last time this year.

Also hacked down a climber by the front door, I've got fed up with it, hasn't flowered for the last two years. May ask OH to dig it out completely and get something else.

Time to get evening meal....nothing fancy mushroom omelette and chips..

    evening all.

After 4 days, I've finally got all the grass cut. I did it in 2 hour chunks.

It's the first time I've collected it and dumped, rather than just blowing it the back, and I'm very pleased how it looks.

Might try to get it a bit shorter next time

Normally BL, I would have a "butch" red with my beef stew, but seeing as fidget was offering.

Ended up reading the paper in the garden this afternoon, as the weather turned rather pleasant.

Still spitting feathers, but am trying to stay calm and not to behave like a 2 year old. Not sure how long that will last.

    help needed !

OH scratched a spot or some such thing while asleep. Blood on bedlinen and it's all dried in . I've had it soaking in very salted water all afternoon, but not much change if any.

Would a boil wash do it?

Hi Everyone,  Thanks for all you good wishes re Hubby.  The op went OK they have repaired a tear in his retina that has only just become apparent and reattached the section that was adrift.  They also did the cataract in that  eye at the same time.  He now has to lie flat for 24 hours (at least 50mins out of every hour).  Then for the next 7 days he has to stay upright so that means sleeping sitting up with 3 pillows.   Tommorow we have to go back so they can check their handiwork.

Hope the move went OK Wonky.

Glad the horseriding session was OK DD.

The weather was wonderful again today, we are so lucky to be enjoying so much sun at the moment.

Boiling sets blood stains Hosta. Better to wash a couple of times after doing the soaking in salt.  I sometimes do that a couple of times too. With three women in a household - I'm used to that...image

Thanks for PM - will reply to all later image

Glad you stayed calm doc - not easy though image

You must be relieved Yvie - awkward with the sleeping arrangement though image
