Morning all. Hit and miss here today again weather wise, but doesn't feel as cold as yesterday. Give me the cold clear nights any day over the dank, cold kind.

Pat - is that Bake off you missed or the prog with Mary on her own? They often repeat these here at weekends so perhaps you'll  get it again.

Glad things are moving along for you DD. When we were on hols (rented cottage) I made sure the place was clean and tidy when we left (as well as while were there)  It's someone else's property after all.

I bought one of those log burner/barbecue things in spring. It was for outdoor use obviously, but it was so miserable here in spring that I felt like setting it up in the lounge and chucking the furniture on it image

Think LP will be weary today Lesley image

Off for a look round before I go to work. Have a good day everyone image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning! Been very wet over night but sun shining, at the moment

Pat sorry it's cold still. Do you wear possum socks? Or a possum jumper. i still do!

lesley how nice to have market day on a Thursday, ours is Monday! You can all shout as much as you like we were all very sensible as it was a school night! The fact that we had a Scottish win ( well actually we trounced them! ) really helped the night!!!

Bushman surprised you didn't hear us !

Star, could you come and do my cupboards please, I am almost at the stage of being frightened to open them!

Fairy have a good day, where is the walk this weekend?

DD things moving on a pace now, all will be well for Shadow

Fairy, no not the bake off - as you say they repeat them and we always enjoy her and Paul Hollywood. It was Who do You Think You Are.  No doubt it'll come around again. Whoops, Fairy, I'm glad you resisted setting fire to everything in sight.

Bushman, I know what you mean. I'm getting cold from knees and elbows down and all tingly - hate it. I keep getting up and doing sort of knees up exercises to get the blood circulating. I think in my case it's because I've dropped so much weight with not being able to eat much (and sitting around feeling sorry for myself). Not on any medication except my usual blood pressure meds -  so no change there.

The rain here for the last couple of days has had ice in it - you can hear it hitting the chimney and windows, and that's saying something with my ears.

Hope all is progressing with the dog. It's really hard when you know he wasn't being mean, just having fun running around chasing the sheep. We see much worse here with our rural neighbours.

Have a good autumn day over there folks. image

Lovely Winter sunshine again today, but b####y freezing.

More bulbs to plant today, when I can summon up the enthusiasm to go outside.
