Sorry I've not been around much for last few days, got royally p*ssed off by someone's rudeness and have blocked them.
My empathy for Hosta's OH. I don't even exist to the family of my husband. They know about me but I am persona non grata. He is often told to 'stop messing around now, we have given you long enough, just find a nice girl and get married'
Congrats to Panda, sympathy to those who are reporting ailments!
Steve - how sad. As parents, it's our job to help our children make their way in the world, and equip them to deal with everything that gets thrown at them. It's not always easy or straightforward, but teaching them tolerance and acceptance of others' race, religious beliefs or sexuality should be at the top of the 'to do' list. I feel quite sorry for those parents who are so narrow minded.
I did a big shout Panda
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hello all. Been preparing for tomorrow's BBQ for Emmaus. Having 32 to lunch. It is a Christian thing, but non Christians support the Charity events I hold too as I have friends of all sorts of beliefs. I haven't met a horrid Christian yet.
Dove, I think I agree with Fairy about the bamboos!
Sorry about your car. Mine is repaired now, such a difference. Garage man said I was lucky the engine didn't fall out during my 5 hour drive. Yet I'd been to 2 different garages about the vibrations, the second one balanced the tyres. I thought the car was vibrating because of old age. When I said that to the first garage he said Oh it will last some while yet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
