Thanks Dove. The forecast is rain every day so far so it looks like we could use up all the bad! It's still a week off work and away with the family so, while i would like some sun, I'm happy. Heligan, Eden Project, Camel Trail, Padstow, beaches... we're coming and we've got the two little pests (my 3&6yr olds) with us.
Lovely day promised here too - i'm popping down to the south coast to see my sister's new house. Our rain is due to sweep in tomorrow - so will have to make the most of today.
hope sick ones are soon on the mend.
and 18th celebration preparations go according to plan - like her choice of cake.
Boiler has been serviced - just a slight hiccup as the pressure at the meter was wrong, so we now have a nice man from the National Grid doing things in the garage!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Wonderful isn't it Jo! you can send the rain here when you have had enough and I'll send you this sun! Gonna potter with another coffee round the garden first tho!
Thanks for all the lovely good wishes everyone. I've just convinced him to come out to the lounge for a while, to give the bedroom a bit of fresh air
the evening news is on, so that's enough to stir some comments - it's as stupid as usual. I've made him a cup of tea with ginger and lemon, but with strict instructions not to touch it until it's cold.
Wonky, you and I think alike - not much point taking lunch with you if you don't eat it.
I notice that Dove hasn't asnswered your question! She been cooking good things again??
