Now the soil is a bit damper I'm hoping I can make big enough holes to plant some hellebores in the Wilderness under the biggest ash tree .....

just saw a movement on the big west facing window - a slug - at least 5" long, is slithering diagonally upwards across the glass ........

Just read your post Bushman - only 2 Munros on the Bookil - one at each end and two minor tops in between. The first minor top after Stob Dearg is a killer though - or it was for me! Very steep. The only Glencoe Munros I've not done are on the Aonach Eagach ridge. Have to take my brave pills for that I think! Bidean's my favourite walk.

One of my Hellebores is covered in flowers just now Dove. Paler than they are at the  usual time of year. Think I have some vine weevil damage on it though, so I've been keeping an eye out for adults to squish.image

Minus 3 here this morning, minus 5 predicted tomorrow. I'd love some rain.

Notice various acacias showing signs of yellow, so they might know something the weather man doesn't.   I would really, really like the Pinoaks to do their thing and get rid of their winter foliage - at least I'd believe them rather than the acacias.image

Memories are good Bushman. I love looking at my pix now and again.  image

When I'm old and senile - no jokes now - it'll be nice to look at them. If I can remember who I am by then!  image

The heather is blooming on the hills now an that always gives me itchy feet. The bilberrys will be about ready as well.
