Don't like gooseberries, Steve?  Can you get that treated on the National Elf?

I made a yummy fruit flan for pud when I had friends in last night.  Garden gooseberries and allotment black- and redcurrants tastefully arranged in a flan base (half self-raising flour) and held together with a mixture of redcurrant jelly and marmalade.  And clotted cream (half price of course).  image

Now to cook some just-harvested broad beans and Charlotte spuds!  Also image
