I'm all ready for an evening out with friends. OH is coming too and is currently not talking to me coz he doesn't want to go! Why do (some) men have to be such children. He is detirmined to have a rubbish time. Sad thing is, if he got over himself he'd enjoy it tsk and hmph
Don't like gooseberries, Steve? Can you get that treated on the National Elf?
I made a yummy fruit flan for pud when I had friends in last night. Garden gooseberries and allotment black- and redcurrants tastefully arranged in a flan base (half self-raising flour) and held together with a mixture of redcurrant jelly and marmalade. And clotted cream (half price of course).
Now to cook some just-harvested broad beans and Charlotte spuds! Also
If I know Wonky it'll be served pink in the middle, with roast potatoes, parsnips, Yorkies, horseradish, gravy etc etc etc She doesn't do things by halves doesn't my Wonky
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
