I thought you would like to see a photo which Hubby snapped with his IPad Wednesday on the way home from shopping - even though it's hard to see, there IS snow on the range in the distance which explains the temp on today's wind.
Dove, too late for that - I totally rejected the wretched thing and he now has all the icons and things he likes to follow on it. I'm getting too old to take on all these things. Thanks for your support, though.
Dove -distance in kms - would need to go out there where the visitors are sitting to check the map, but it would take us about an hour I think to drive there (Allowing for twists and turns, obviously). The snow fields include Thredbo and Perisher Valley and we were travelling from Cooma in an easterly direction - Bout 10 minutes from Cooma. You could probably find them on Mr Google.
Take it back from him Pat - you can usually plug in a normal mouse to a laptop and use that instead of the mousepad. That's what my OH does (he's younger than me ).
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I think I'll have to admit that the darned thing arrived at a bad time for me. We were in town for my weekly chiropractic appointment when he collected it. Of course I hardly had my ...erm... Posterior on the seat at home with a cuppa and an uncomfortable back, when he tried to interest me in looking at what a marvellous machine it was. (Hence my impatience to follow his directions).
I'm reminded that a similar thing happened when I suggested I could benefit from a better camera to enable me to photograph the little finches etc outside. The camera we ended up with is such a pain to use, that I went back to my instamatic and he takes the good camera out when fire fighting. He gets good photos though!
Purchased some fairy lights for my arch and some more for the borders - Wilcos had a sale on Managed to get my clips and nails so am off to grab the hammer and do some hitting.... hope I miss my fingers or I'll look like this
I really think that when he buys things that he thinks I will like, he subconsciously selects things that he can relate to. He is so far ahead on computery things, that we don't think alike in that regard. Our son is the same - they just have that kind of brain whereas I'm more of a hands on crafty type and really prefer things to be as I've always known them.(what a thing to admit to!).
Do you think Michael Mosely would use this to justify his male/female brain thing?
Pat, I love my laptop, so much easier to see and type on than an Ipad. It has a thing you wipe your finger on. I never use it. My OH bought me a wireless mouse, it's very good and easy. You plug in a little USB thingy and have a mouse on a mat without a wire.
Have done some planting
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Pat, has he always been this acquisitive or is it a newly acquired skill

Dove, too long ago to remember.
