No luck!  He's on his way home.  He can make the cuppa then - I'll put the kettle on so it's hot when he arrives image

    Ouch Dove - poor fingerimage

    Wonderful orchids Bill.

Didn't shop quite as much as Stacey at crocus - but am very pleased with my (odd numbers ofimage) veronicastrum fascination, knautia macedonia, heuchara sweettea, and a dierama to try.  All things that have been on my list for a while, so not impulse buys.  Told OH that, and he wants to see my list and exactly how long it is (fears 2nd mortgage may be required).  I had to explain list is in my head, and is not really that longimage

He came home with grasses - karl forster and some clumpy onesimage.  He hasn't got a list, so they WERE impulse buys .... Tut tut

Dove - ouch -  more than chocolate required I think image

I don't know why we worry about spending lots on our gardens - look at what other people spend on shoes and jewellery and clothes....well that's how I justify it!

Brought my washing in - felt it was time as my trousers flew past me while I was sawing wood....it's a bit windy here image

Cup of tea and a quick look round then back out for painting and other 'stuff'. Getting the coping thingies on my raised beds.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Wow you've all been having fun except Dove and me.

Dove you harbour wildlife and do your best and what happens? image Hope it eases soon, I'd need more than a cuppa.

OL glad son home ok and has missed you image

Chicky great to cross stuff off your wanted list image Impulse buying and having input into plants  imageI don't take my undergardener in case he gets ideas. Said in a Nora Batty voice.

Now Mrs Posh..wot you like Stacey ? Showing us up when we have our old furniture stashed in the shedimage Sounds & looks like you've got some great things, I am not envious at all image

Nothing wrong here, just been kneeling down & weeding for ages and planning what to put where from the stuff I need to plant. At least I wasn't attacked by a Q wasp image

Talking of Gg I've not seen her since she hit herself with the hammer wrecking pallets. Hope she's okay image

Dove, OUCH! But what a lovely lady you are to put the kettle on for your OH.

Fairy, flying trousers! Wow, that must be some breeze!!

Well, I brought some new, lighter pots for my new display tower and a jumper image My new hose turned up this morning before I left, and I came home to a new wooden planter image Bought one for a friend for her birthday, liked it so much I bought one for myself imageimage

Panda - I had to laugh but once I started painting I felt it was wise to take the washing down. Don't think daughter would fancy black stripes on her new red jammies!

and why are you displaying your jumper in  a pot....imageimage

Bill saved you for last image

They are seriously lovely cattleyas. image

I don't "see" you as becoming frail, the journeys you've done in snow to hospital etc.  Maybe Mrs.Bill is feeling very vulnerable and elderly after your tragic loss. She might feel different when you get some good weather, I hope so. Can't imagine you moving where you have no garden.

I'm going to be blunt here, excuse is I'm a Yorkshire lass image It's got to be joint decision, if you have no garden and activity outdoors won't that have a bigger impact on you both?  Gardener's moan about aches & pains but we feel so good after achieving something outside.

If you do move can't you take your lilies with you?
