Lizzie people do burn them, we just attack it wearing protective clothes each spring. Glad we didn't burn it as that's where our hedgehog nests.

Just been out for a drive as fed up with the weather, and the car took me to my local GC. No plants in need of rescuing, well not at the asking prices.

Have satisfied my "need to have" after seeing them on GW got Tulip Barbados only six bulbs though. But it was rude not to get a few more bits, so 12 Black Parrot and some Narcissus Minnow, and really needed some dwarf ones so Rip Van Winkle went in the basket.  So planting them will keep me out of mischief today or tomorrow. Just need to find my old rain coat.image

Just watched GW . Loved the fancy Barbados tulip KEF, you must post pics when its doing its stuff. Also enjoyed watching the bit in Esther Rantzens garden and her enthusiasm.
  • Hi Gg... me too.. i went out , got a bit done in the GH, and had started to tidy up my runner beans and it rained. Came in, had a wash, and now the sun is streaming in the window. I'm not playing that game any more today. Rugby on soon and have prepared   an "invention test" dinner for later. image
