Need to get some more big stones

It's not full up with water yet, when it is most of the liner will be hidden - the planting around the back edge will trail over and hide the rest.

I had to pop in at the garden centre and two ferns and a golden sedge just leapt into my trolley - I only popped in for a birthday card image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • No gardening for me today been busy setting my water butt all done now along with my compost bin hopefully no rain tomorrow so I can get busy adding compost to what will be my summer garden.

Wow Dove, its looking great, those builders work pretty quick..  your pond makes me think I  'need'  a pond too image

Ooh err, words have gone really tiny image

Clari, ive bought a few dogwood plants, we may use those to make a screen with those to hide our compost bins at the end of the garden.  Or we had thought of putting trellis up and planting climbers of some sort.

Mrs G.  Extreme maybe but hopefully I'll be happy and healthy soon. I hope your meal goes well. The food sounds wonderful!
